MEET YOUR YOGA INSTRUCTORS
Chloe Watkins | E-RYT, Prenatal Yoga Teacher, ToLabor trained Birth Doula, Postnatal Doula
Jay Brown says, “family life is the yogic cave” and it is this idea that echos in Chloe’s personal practice and in her teaching. Drawing inspiration from everyday activities - raising a young family, juggling jobs and tasks and making ends meet - Chloe seeks the wisdom in our mundane experiences. Her aim is to provide her students the tools with which they can begin to notice the intricacies and joys of their lives as they are today - the good, the bad, and the indifferent.
Chloe was trained in 2012 at PURE Yoga in New York City under Yogi Charu and KayKay Clivio. She has been blessed by many incredible teachers over the years including Terrence Monte, Cyndi Lee, Shala Worsley, Kathryn Budig, Kino MacGregor, and Tiffany Cruikshank. Chloe also co-founded and teaches at Santosha Yoga.
Mia Hamza | E-RYT 500
Mia is a yoga teacher who sees the practice as potent medicine for body, mind, and soul. She combines more than a decade of dedicated yoga practice with her study of science and holistic health practices. Mia’s classes focus on using movement therapeutically to strengthen and heal the body.
She is currently completing her 1000-hour Yoga Medicine certification, a thorough, anatomy-based system where she is learning to work more powerfully with her clients and within healthcare systems. Within this training, Mia specializes in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. She teaches group classes, workshops, and retreats around the world, and has designed programs for athletes, veterans, expectant mothers, recovering addicts, cancer patients, teens, those new to yoga, and experienced yogis, too. In her classes, expect a unique blend of dynamic movement, steady breath, restorative postures, and myofascial release techniques to create bliss and balance that lasts beyond the time spent on your yoga mat.
